1964 Thunderbird was built March 5, 1964 and delivered to Dick Price Motors
in Wichita, Kansas.
The dealership was known as “Price’s O.S.T.” (Price’s On South Topeka) who received this Arcadian Blue with light blue cloth interior, plus Select Aire Air Conditioning, power windows, power door locks, power drivers seat, fender skirts, and Deluxe wheel covers.
The original State of Kansas license plate is still on the car and the original owner’s name plaque is still attached to the center console as, “L. C. McCool.”
Always a Wichita car, this was Mr. McCool’s pride and joy for several years until it was sold to the second owner, and then to the third, current owner in September, 2009.
Today this Thunderbird , still bearing the “Price’s O.S.T.” dealer’s reflective sticker, is owned, shown, and pampered by Mid-Kansas Vintage Thunderbird club member Joseph R. Gross.
